Newborn Sessions

Meeting new families and watching them snuggling with their new tiny babies, in awe of their newness and littleness is such a joy to behold. My sessions with you will be about capturing this precious time. That time when you are just starting to get the feel of holding such a small baby, getting the hang of nappy changes. You are working out if bubs getting hungry or tired, or just wants you and you really just starting to get a feel for the personality of your new little person. I want you to feel relaxed, assured and comfortable in your session, to know that I am taking good care of your tiny treasure. Your baby is in safe hands.

If you have chosen to have hair and makeup done, then Mobile Makeovers Australia, headed up by the owner Tallora Dee—will come to you just before I arrive, to give you a light makeover and style your hair.

I come to your home for your newborn session. I bring my full studio set up with me, complete with backdrops, lighting, posing bag, props, outfits, and wraps. All you need to do is have a small space to put it in, and I can set up anywhere. We also need a light cleared space on your lounge, baby nursery or in your bedroom for family lifestyle photos.

Once I am set up, I start with parent photos, and siblings (including fur-siblings) if you have older children.

Photos of babies so small in parents arms are absolutely my must-get photos. Then I move on to capturing your baby, their uniqueness and in both posed and un-posed set ups.

I aim to capture wiggly fingers and toes, button noses, squishy skin, baby lashes, stretches, yawns and even sleepy baby smiles where I can.

Maternity Sessions

Meeting you, your partner and your family before baby arrives, we can get to know each other a little better. I want to show you Mumma how beautiful and glowing you really are, full of love and life blooming in your body. How incredible is Mother Nature that we can do this.

It’s chance for a couple to celebrate the final days of just being two. For families with other children, it’s a fantastic opportunity to have fun, and capture the adoration you already have for your small people before your family dynamics changes once again.

These sessions are usually outdoors, locations like the Botanic Gardens, or the beach, are a popular choice. I have a couple of special locations that I love to use too.

Though I do suggest maybe a location that may be more meaningful to your family—i.e. where you got married or where you met. It’s also a great idea to then have a family photo taken when bubs turns one in the same location.

Baby Sessions

These sessions are also in your home, as babies are still small, around 6 months old and sitting up, but not crawling (or just crawling) or about 9 months old when they might be standing up but not walking.

They are an hour long session (approximately) and is a fantastic opportunity to have an update of photos with Mum and Dad, and of course photos to show what a big boy or girl bubs has now grown into.

The perfect opportunity to show how they’ve grown from that tiny newborn you could once hold in your hands—time certainly flies and they do grow that fast!

Family Sessions

Family is everything and our babies do grow up in the blink of an eye. One minute you’ve got a newborn, they start to toddle around, then they are in primary school, then high school, then driving and woah, it’s so fast. Blink and they’ll be off married having their own babies.

The only way to stop time and to capture them growing up is to get family photos taken. See your children in fun happy moments, being themselves, so innocent so free and full of life and joy. And with you!

The most important memories your kids will want to see later, and to show their own children, are those spent growing up with you!
